Due to conflicting rental schedules with school sports at Papago (school sports take precedence over outside rentals), we have to split this season between the two locations for this spring season. We apologize for the inconvenience to you and your teams.

FORMAT: BRING-YOUR-OWN-TEAM OR FREE AGENT

  • CAPTAINS: if you intend on building a team, notify us by Jan 27 so we can keep a count of anticipated teams, and email your full roster to info@cactusdodgeball.com so we can keep track of registrations. A full and compliant roster needs to be submitted by Feb 3.

  • ROSTERS: Bringing your own veteran team? To avoid stacked teams, we have a salary cap for teams. Please read the UPDATED rules/salary sheet here.  We have point total requirements to allow for 7-10 player rosters. Requests for female players from the free agent list to be automatically placed on your team will no longer be considered - captains must do their own recruiting. The maximum number of female players allowed on a team will be 4. This is an unfortunate but necessary change, as many recurring issues are due to a limited number of female players in the league. If our participation numbers improve, then this will revert to our previous requirements.

  • Subs are also allowed for the tournament, but they must also have approval by all captains. 

  • Free agent? Sign up as a free agent, and we will place you on a team!

  • Creating a new team? Don’t worry about the salary requirements above. Message us if you have any questions.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Play one game a week against other teams for 8 weeks, then join us for an end-of-season Saturday tournament to battle for 1st place!

SCHEDULE
Games will be held between 7-9pm (or 6:30-9:30pm if we get at least 10 teams)

  • Week 1: Tue, Feb 10 (Mesa gym)

  • Week 2: Tue, Feb 17 (Mesa gym)

  • Week 3: Tue, Feb 24 (Mesa gym)

  • Week 4: Tue, Mar 3 (Papago gym)

  • SPRING BREAK: Mar 10 NO DODGEBALL

  • Week 5: Tue, Mar 17 (Papago gym)

  • Week 6: Tue, Mar 24 (Papago gym)

  • Week 7: Tue, Mar 31 (Papago gym)

  • Week 8: Tue, Apr 7 (Papago gym)

  • Tournament: Sat, April 11 at Mesa gym, then afterparty at Boulders on Southern
